  Bullies

A kid in a town not an hour away from me hung himself in his closet a few weeks ago. He was only in the 5th grade. He was being called gay and stupid, because he was smarter than the bullies. Is it not sad that we have to deal with hearing about this? I know it is ineveitable, but come on. I am...... [view]

Description:   No one should be silent. If you see something that is unjust, than speak up, your voice can make a difference. Millions of people everyday experience racism, inequality, limited freedom, exploitation, oppression.. etc. We can stop this but only if we try, so "stand up even if you're standing alone" because that can make a huge difference and you'll only know for sure if you try.

Being a Friend to Someone in Need

Description:   Please if you\'re reading this and you know someone who is going through a rough time, just be a friend to them. You don\'t have to have the right words, just listen. Be there every step of the way. Love them forever. I\'m a teen and know several peers who are depressed and are in need of friends. As a Christian especially, I have seen times where one person\'s actions towards another, changed their whole perspective on God. Please, be careful what you do and say to others. You never know what\'s going to be imprinted in their minds. You never know what\'s going to change their life. Be a friend.
