registered for courses

Well, I sent in my online course registration form to BU. It wasn't easy. Balancing out your required courses, prerequisites, and electives while avoiding scheduling conflicts is like a challenging (but unpleasant) game. Lord willing, though, I'll get in the classes I need....... [view]

my fafsa was processed after all

So I thought that my FAFSA corrections hadn't been processed, but they had. My EFC is 000, just as I wanted. Now if only my loans could be $0 also. I am happy to have gotten the $7500 scholarship, however. That will cover most of what would otherwise be private (higher-interest) loans. Time...... [view]

Typed up those essays, but, ag, they need revision

Last week, I was wondering whether, in my procrastination, I was exaggerating how difficult it is to write a good application essay. Now, having written drafts of both the essays BU requires, I don't think I was. It's hard to distill your whole life into 1000 words or less. I find...... [view]

 whew...glad that's over with

This morning, I woke early, grabbed my passport and traveled to a foreign land - the land of GRE. What I saw there cannot be disclosed, but I can tell you this: I got a 740 on the verbal and a 640 on quantitative. By the mercy of God, this is better than I expected. The essays I'll have to...... bu com school...ahead of the curve as always

You got to love the BU College of Communication - not only do they have a website, they have a MySpace (which is kinda like the web's bastard child). Reach your market where they like to hang out, that's what I say....... [view]
