Description: Women today owe a lot to our predecessors who have paved the way for us to vote, work, have our voices heard and be recognized as persons. It is important to acknowledge women’s history, to take note of the progress made so that we can continue to fight oppression and marginalization. Women in every country of the world should be able to have autonomy, bodily integrity, receive an education, have the right to vote and hold public office, own property and work for fair and equal pay.
