We were just hit by theives. This is equal to many that are taken from by those who need what we have. The "theif" probably has little or nothing.

Description: I commit making a conscious effort to contain or minimize poverty around the world. Education of various levels will gradually help to reduce the level of poverty in various regions around the globe.
Ex. at the national boys and girls club youth conference of Canada in St John, New Brunswick we passed around a couple of hats and raised around 2000 dollars to free the children in 10 minutes. [view]

Description: How much money or income do you receive each month? In this world, so many peoples live under $ US 2/day. If we can contribute $ US 1/each month to NGOs DIRECTLY, we can make people living in poverty lives better and easier by optimizing the abilitity of NGOs. Commit your self to contribute/donate $ US 1/month to help them. [view]

Description: The United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) Human Development Report (HDR) is probably the most widely read document published by the UN every year. But the reports are not widely read by young people, which is why the UN is inviting young people to make a short, colourful summary of it. The process is the same as previous years. If you did not take part last year, what we do is to create a task force of individual young people, school groups, etc. and get them to bring to life the key messages of the HDR with opinion pieces, reports, poems and stories, paintings, cartoons and photographs - so that everyone can understand these messages. The result is a beautiful, fascinating booklet entirely written and illustrated, designed and edited by young people. You can view the one we did last year at: http://hdr.undp.org/external/hdr2006/water
The design and editing is done by the young international interns here
at the world-famous Peace Child International centre, near Cambridge, UK. Contributors can watch the book come
together, page by page, on the website. Also via the website, you can suggest a different story, another photograph,
painting or design element, just as if you were sitting at the Editorial Meeting table.
VIDEOS
This year, the UNDP has asked us to go further and invite young people to create 30 to 90 second videos on how climate change affects you and what you feel should be done about it. For additional information on the video component please visit http://www.quantumshift.tv/contests/11
For additional information on the UNDP Youth Climate Change Project please visit and download the call out letter in English, French and Spanish at http://www.peacechild.org/climate [view]
