But think about it this way, everytime you learn a new language you can add another millions of people to who you can get to know and have a conversation with. Learning a language can help you adapt to new places and also help you appreciate a new culture without the language barriers. With a new language you can learn how to read, write and speak fluently. I say, that's pretty darn impressive.

The more we learn about other cultures the less misconceptions and stereotypes there will be! Educating yourself about different cultures will not only make you a more knowledgeable and tolerant person, but you will gain respect for cultures and the people who are a part of them.
