Support Bed Nets Distribution to Fight Malaria

Submitted By:   ndzulotj
Committers:  13
Date Created:  2009-04-20
Description:   Malaria kills 1 child every 30 seconds. It is the largest cause of death among children under the age of five, and affecting pregnant women. Using insecticide treated nets at night is the most efficient method to protect ourselves from mosquito bites, hence from contracting the malaria parasite. I therefore commit to support local, national or international organizations either by donating money, or taking part in the sensitization of communities and/or being involved with distributing bed nets at the next opportunity.
