I'm aiming for 100...... [view]

  CAMPUSLIFE AND ITS LOW POINT

A disclaimer first: I am not one of those base readers who superfluously find faults with news pieces or write-ups. As I am not an unscrupulous arm-chair gadfly, I crave that my felicitous critique of the racy and informative Campuslife pull-out be viewed as a compulsive reader’s contribution...... [view]

Finish the 100-letter dash, and then some

Submitted By:   MeganH

Description:   The 100-letter dash is a catchy name I've put on the act of letter writing- en masse. I'm working towards motivating people to write to the governments of troubled areas to try and promote change. I feel it would be more effective to send many individual letters, rather than one large one. The "100" in the 100-letter dash could easily be changed to 200, 1000, 5000.

Description:   Learning a new language can be quite the challenge for some people. But think about it this way, everytime you learn a new language you can add another millions of people to who you can get to know and have a conversation with. Learning a language can help you adapt to new places and also help you appreciate a new culture without the language barriers. With a new language you can learn how to read, write and speak fluently. I say, that's pretty darn impressive.
